Sainsbury’s is selling pigs in blankets and brussels sprouts flavoured teabags and we think they sound gross

News Corp is a network of leading companies in the worlds of diversified media, news, education, and information services. The pigs in blankets flavour apparently tastes of sage and rosemary, while the brussels sprouts brew is a green tea THEY usually belong in your Christmas dinner, but now Sainsbury’s has launched two controversial teas that it claims taste like pigs in blankets and brussels sprouts. The pigs in blankets brew is said to taste of sage and rosemary, while the supermarket claims a brussels sprouts cuppa will be a vegetable-infused green tea. We haven’t had a chance to try them, and we’re not particularly desperate to, but they could make for a fun novelty Christmas gift. The packets contain 20 teabags and they cost £1 a box, so it would be an inexpensive way to prank a relative. They were first spotted by a Sainsbury’s shopper who shared a snap of the teas in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group. They’ve whipped tea fans into a frenzy, with more than 2,000 people commenting on the weird flavours. Nathan Dussie wrote: “I’m gonna replace all the teabags at work with the sprouts ones.” Sainsbury’s is selling pigs in blankets and brussels sprouts flavoured teabags and we think they sound gross
